LipDub The Young Europeans France

Here is a video that celebrates the vitality of youth in Europe.
The concept is simple: a single clip to the camcorder, with lots of people who do play back a song.
This is called a LipDub, which means roughly "double on the lips."

Thursday, March 27, first Eurocafé in Aix en Provence

Hello,

Thursday, March 27 in Aix en Provence will be our first Eurocafé at 8:30 p.m. bar Festival ,
next to the Rotunda .
This event is organized in partnership with Polyglot Café.

strong euro, weak purchasing power?

Behind this slightly provocative title, it will provide an update on youth representations on the issue of the euro in the current economic situation. With Euro
that revolves around a dollar 54, and has even reached a dollar 56,
European citizens, and more and more decision makers in the world economic and political
facing the problem of the strong Euro .
For some, a Euro too strong penalizes exports outside the EU, so the Union's economic growth. Decrease in GDP resulting mechanically a decline in purchasing power.
For others, the strong Euro dampens the rise in commodity prices, reduced inflation risks and helps to attract investors looking for investments that relate. The Euro is strong because interest rates are high. And a high interest rate encourages pensioners (the capitalists), rather than borrowers.

Behind this question of the strong euro emerges the problem of monetary policy of the Union, and therefore the problem of the status and mission of the Central Bank: ECB must remain independent? Parliament should have an influence on his decisions? The
ECB Should it remain in its unique mission to fight against inflation or does it see its mission extended?

The objective of this Euro coffee does not require you to call an expert who tells you how to think, but to discuss and reflect on the current functioning of the European Union.
